What is Twassistant?
The “T-W” in Twassistant stands for, “The World”, and we connect smart people in developing economies to the needs in the developed world, like programming a website, doing data entry, building brands through social media, search engine optimization, personal assistance, or writing articles.
Who are we?
Twassistant is the brain-child of two entrepreneurs, Nigel Paul and Keith Brink, who saw the potential of the emerging global labour market, and wanted to make it possible for individuals and small businesses to tap into the same cost efficiency in labour that large global businesses enjoy.
At the same time, we believe that developed countries like Canada have an obligation to help developing-world economies, not through aid alone but, perhaps even more importantly, through healthy economics. One of healthiest and most effective ways to develop an economy is to empower the middle class. This is who we hire in Twassistant. We pay middle-class rates plus about 25% more, and as a result we help pull up the whole economy.
What do we do?
We’re committed to providing two things: 1) Lower than minimum wage rates for our basic services, and 2) an easy, enjoyable experience for the customer. To do that, we intensively screen candidates for the top candidates that meet our high standards, and you are connected with them only after a period of interviews, testing, and internal evaluations.
When you hire a Twassistant, you’re receiving services from the top talent from all around the world.
